Illinois’ environmental movement will gather at the State Capitol to rally in support of the Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability (CRGA) Act, transit funding and reform, and a bill that phases out polystyrene foam.

When: Wednesday, October 15 (rally at 12pm in the Rotunda of the Capitol Building!)
Where: Illinois State Capitol Building, 401 S. 2nd St. Springfield, IL 62701
Registration: free and open to all

This event will feature a rally calling our lawmakers to take action and support these climate priorities. Feel free to bring a rally sign, but please ensure it’s not affixed to a stick and doesn’t have sharp edges to keep folks safe.

Depending on the schedule of veto session, attendees will also either meet with their legislators or leave them postcards and petitions in their offices. Either way, attendees will get the opportunity to share their messages with their elected officials.
